The solo exhibition “:) – no pressure” by Hong Kong artist Trevor Yeung is presenting the artist’s reflections and responses to the artistic residency in Zurich.

The project starts with comparing the living conditions of the pets from Hong Kong with the families he has visited. The pets are protected in Switzerland by the Animal Protection Act (455) in dignity and well-being. Yeung collects the stories and re-interprets them in his own perspective. The show does not focus particularly on pets; Yeung also uses pets as a bridge to start a conversation with different people and families. The exhibition is also showing his observation in the daily life and the emotion status during the residency.
